I suppose Brighton is a little like Atlantic City on the English Channel. This was toward the end of our trip, so not as many pictures.
The Royal Pavilion at Brighton. Was a palace, now a museum. I'm tempted to go off on a lecture, but I'll spare you. Yes, that's a palm tree.
It was built for George IV, and it's full of oriental-style paintings, dragon chandeliers, faux bamboo and stuff. I really want a music room like they have in there. Queen Victoria thought it was too close to the wrong kind of people, and sold it to the city of Brighton.
At one of the Brighton Pier rides, there flies a witch with a severe proctological problem.
